Rocky Point is best known as a shrimp fishing village evidenced by a wonderful statue of a fisherman and his shrimp in the town square. People have been going to Rocky Point to purchase their shrimp at the fresh air markets in downtown for many years, so go there and purchase some great shrimp for your dinner.
The 18 hole par 72 golf course is exciting and challenging to even the best players. The large greens give you plenty of opportunities to hone your problem solving skills and test your golf acumen or you won’t make that next putt. As a guest of Las Palomas you will get a discount on your game.
The old Light House Restaurant in downtown Rocky Point is not only a landmark but serves mouth-watering delicious food. You are able to see the beam of light from the condo or just go there for a great dinner.
There are so many things to do and places to visit you just can’t get it all done in a week. Take a boat trip to “Bird Island”, go Deep Sea Fishing, Wind Surfing, Kite Boarding, Yachting, Dinner Cruise, Whale Watching, Beach Combing, Snorkeling, Diving, ATV over the sand dooms, Para Sailing, Jet Skiing, or even Sail around the Sea of Cortez.
There are many swimming pools at the resort so you can swim in a different one everyday. Grab a float and float down the Lazy River for hours or lay
in one of the many hammocks and read your favorite book.
